Mouser Electronics will begin distributing Microchip Technology’s ATmega4809 8-bit microcontrollers with immediate effect. The ATmega4809 microcontroller is a new member of the megaAVR® series of microcontrollers, designed to create highly responsive command and control applications. This microcontroller has a core-independent peripheral (CIP) that facilitates the execution of tasks through hardware rather than software. Its integrated high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC) has a reference voltage and can convert analog signals more quickly. The hardware-based CIP allows the ATmega4809 microcontroller to be used as the on-board microcontroller for the Arduino Uno Wi-Fi Rev 2 board.
