On July 17, 2012, the leading global memory and storage upgrade brand, Crucial, announced the immediate release of the Crucial® m4 mSATA Solid State Drive (SSD), designed to meet the needs of the fast-growing UltrabookTM line of ultra-thin notebooks. Space-critical systems provide powerful and reliable performance. The Crucial m4 mSATA SSD is only one-eighth the size of the Crucial m4 SSD, but delivers the same performance and reliability.
Thanks to its compact size, the Crucial m4 mSATA SSD can be installed on a mSATA-enabled motherboard as the primary storage for ultra-thin notebooks or as a cache for existing hard drives to complement its current performance. The series is available in capacities of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Crucial's m4 mSATA SSDs continue to read at speeds of up to 500MB per second, are inherently power efficient, travel-friendly, and validated with Intel's Smart Response technology and NVELO's DataplexTM caching software.
