Hainan's first waste incineration power generation project put into operation

On the 28th, the first waste incineration power generation project in Hainan Province, Haikou City Waste Incineration Power Plant project was completed and put into operation. The project site is located in the Yanchunling landfill site of the Old City Economic Development Zone, Chengmai County, Hainan Province. The total investment is 466 million yuan. The construction scale is to dispose of 1,200 tons of waste daily, treat 400,000 tons of waste annually, and use 123 million kilowatt-hours of electricity online. Reduce garbage dumping by 360,000 tons. The pollutant discharge index meets or exceeds the EU's waste incineration pollutant discharge standard, and is totally superior to the state's incineration pollution control standard for domestic garbage.
