Huawei P6 with LEGO robot to fix the cube

Huawei P6 with LEGO robot to fix the cube What kind of way to show off the processing performance of your new mobile phone is the best? Of course, using its processor to run Lego robots to solve the Rubik's Cube - at least Huawei think so. Recently, Huawei officially released a video of Lego robots to solve the Rubik's cube with P6 as the core.

In the video, David Gilday, chief engineer of ARM, explained how Rubik's Cube works. The mobile phone camera collects and sends back each color patch of the Rubik's cube to the mobile phone, and then the mobile phone calculates the number of steps and changes needed to reach the target state from the current color patch distribution and outputs it to the Lego robot.

David Gilday said that the current 4×4 puzzle is much more complex than 3×3, and that calculating the cube solution will cost hundreds of megabytes of memory and multiple CPU cores.

The video is indeed quite interesting; but then again, it is very difficult to find a similar use case on the user's mobile phone to solve the Rubik's cube problem. The Rubik's Cube algorithm is similar to the pi calculation test and can indeed be used to show off, but it cannot be used as a data to reflect the experience. However, this at least proves that the LEGO robot is powerful.
