White LEDs have been improved in efficiency, lumen output, color quality and stability, which allows relatively low-cost white LEDs to be applied to general lighting. In addition, Mr. Timon Rupp, senior marketing manager of Osrram Opto Semiconductors, also shared the company's ink in the SMT/SMDLED market. Its new ThinGaN technology enables Osram's LED products to have more mature performance. Osram can do it at 180 lumens per watt (CRI60) and can reach 160 lumens per watt (CRI80). Osram's new warm white LEDs already have better lumen output per watt and color rendering CRI performance than typical warm white LEDs.
At present, the company applies SMDLED products to various emerging applications for LEDs, including the automotive market. The main product is DragonLED.
