Apple hired Tim Dashwood, a 3D 360 VR video plug-in developer, to include it in Apple’s Final Cut Pro X team. This plug-in developed by Tim Dashwood has been used in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro X.
The VR video plug-in developed by Tim Dashwood supports platforms such as Oculus Rift. This is a $1,000 commercial plug-in that is now available for free download. Xiao Bian believes that with the rise of 360-degree VR video in the future, professional VR video editing tools will also be the demands of film and television workers, Apple's move is obviously for the future of this market layout.
The news comes from the Final Cut Pro community site fcp.co, which said that Tim Dashwood is currently participating in the NAB NAB.
