Vapor generator is used to boil water and evaporate from liquid to gas state. The steam can add humidity in air, add water on face, sterilize the cooking appliance, or for sauna purpose.
The power of PTC is very different from applied conditions.
To shorten the waiting time of initial vapor, add little water in the pot first. After vapor, add other water at the same time as vapor.
Neglecting other energy consume, vaporizing 1 gram water need 2260 J of heat energy. If vaporizing 1 gram water in one second, it generate 1.3 liter steam, and 2260W of power is needed.
Power is 10% smaller on 110V than on 220V for the same PTC heater.
