Recently, Microwave Vision Group (MVG)'s MVG-EMC has introduced advanced EMC testing solutions to help Dyson achieve an evaluation of the electromagnetic compatibility of the industry's highest standards for home and commercial appliances. MVG-EMC not only efficiently completed the testing process, but also effectively protected the company's patents and core technologies, and also helped Dyson maintain its leading position in the industry.

Fabio Scalon, Dyson's chief engineer, said, “Before the cooperation, we did in-depth research on the top suppliers in the industry, and finally we can hold MVG, mainly because of its high cost performance, excellent performance and excellent after-sales service. Advanced darkroom equipment is critical to Dyson's product testing. MVG is the leader in darkroom design, and MVG-EMC is fully compliant with and exceeds the testing standards we need. The results of third-party certification also prove that MVG design is optimized. The product performance is the highest level in the industry. Since the cooperation, MVG-EMC has continuously helped Dyson to improve its testing capabilities, so that our internal field testing is fully compatible, and it ensures confidentiality during development, saves testing time, Saving inspection costs, continuously improving Dyson's own competitive strength, and solidifying our leading position in the industry."

As the world's leading high-tech company, Dyson's vacuum cleaners, airflow multipliers, dryers and hand warmers have always been the darling of the market. These high-tech products, which combine the hard work and intelligence of Dyson engineers, are recognized and favored by the market, and are inseparable from their innovative technology and protection of core technologies. MVG-EMC offers a range of standard-sized darkrooms that meet a wide range of EMC requirements. Whether it's radiation emissions, radiated immunity, full compatibility or pre-compliance testing, MVG-EMC's darkrooms and modules can be customized to customer requirements. Fully meet customer requirements.
As early as 2006, Dyson commissioned MVG to build a 3m anechoic chamber, which was upgraded in 2015 to meet changing industry standards, a wider frequency range and the latest EMC regulations. During the development process, Dyson needed to evaluate the electromagnetic compatibility of household and commercial products, such as Dyson vacuum cleaners or hand dryers. All evaluations and tests are performed in Dyson's SAC, primarily due to the confidentiality of the technology and ensuring that product development and testing are carried out within the company without the need to ship to an external third party for testing. In the meantime, Dyson has gradually acquired the ability to independently complete industry standard tests such as CISPR, IEC and FCC. The existing darkroom is evaluated by MVG-EMC and uses the new "Hyperloss" hybrid absorbing material to complement existing ferrite upgrades. Fabio Scalon said that as product complexity changes, Dyson now also needs to test the electromagnetic field (EMF) up to 2.7GHz. After the upgraded darkroom reaches the new standard, its functions and performance are also fully improved. Fabio Scalon admits that with the improvement of R&D facilities, Dyson will continue to improve its testing capabilities. MVG-EMC is always the first choice for Dyson's EMC testing needs, both now and in the future.
MVG-EMC has been used in electromagnetic compatibility testing for 30 years. MVG-EMC products can be used in telecommunications, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics and EMC industries and academic research institutions. Whether it is for civil or military applications, MVG-EMC has successfully implemented more than one hundred projects around the world. In China, MVG-EMC has built reverberation chambers with high field strength, high frequency and military standards for several research institutes and metrology institutes across the country. In terms of civil standards, MVG-EMC has also completed several successful cases. For example, in Hangzhou, a 10-meter large-scale EMC darkroom for laptop testing was built for Toshiba. MVG-EMC's products comply with the latest international and domestic standards. One of the company's development strategies is to integrate international standards into the needs of the Chinese market. At the 10th China International Microwave and Antenna Technology Exhibition to be held at the Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center on October 21-23, MVG-EMC will be fully displayed.
