Perform short circuit test again-clamp the nibs of the two test leads together, turn the handle, and check the indication. Under normal circumstances, the pointer should be on the far left of the dial, pointing to "0".
The third step, measurement
Clamp the test pen of the shaker on the two ends of the object to be measured, shake the handle clockwise, and slowly accelerate until the speed is 2r/s (two revolutions per second) and stabilizes at this speed. After the reading is stable, do not stop the handle and start the reading.

Leakage detection

The method is: one test lead clamps the wire to be tested (zero wire or live line), another test lead clamps the ground wire, and starts to shake the handle. If the reading at this time is less than 0.5MΩ, it proves that there is leakage in the line-when measuring, it is recommended to remove all the wire connectors and measure one by one to determine the specific location of the leakage.
Short circuit detection
Clamp the two test leads to the zero line and the live line respectively, and start to turn the handle. If the reading is 0 at this time, it proves that there is a short-circuit point in the section of the line-when measuring, you also need to remove the connector and measure in sections.
