The basic principle of idle speed control is that the ECU calculates the target speed based on the cooling water temperature, air conditioning load, neutral signal, etc., and compares it with the actual speed, at the same time detects the full throttle signal and vehicle speed signal to determine whether it is in the idle state. The difference between the target speed and the actual speed drives the actuator to adjust and control the intake air amount.
Automobile air conditioners are generally composed of compressor, electronically controlled clutch, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, receiver drier, hoses, and condensing fan , Vacuum solenoid (vacuum solenoid), idler and control system. Automotive air conditioners are divided into high-pressure pipelines and low-pressure pipelines. The high-pressure side includes the compressor output side, high-pressure pipeline, condenser, liquid storage dryer and liquid pipeline; the low-pressure side includes the evaporator, accumulator, return line, compressor input side and compressor oil sump.
It is worth mentioning that the rotary shaft of the compressor is connected to the engine crankshaft through a magnetic clutch and a belt to obtain power. Why is there a magnetic clutch? Because when the sensor installed at the outlet of the evaporator senses that the temperature of the air is not low enough, it will close the magnetic clutch of the compressor through the circuit, so that the compressor runs with the engine to achieve cooling. When the outlet temperature is lower than the set temperature, it controls the magnetic clutch to cut off, so that the compressor does not work. If this control fails, the compressor will continue to work, causing the evaporator to freeze and cause the pipeline pressure to exceed the standard, eventually destroying the system and even causing damage.
