The installation requirements for different types of biosafety cabinets are different and should be strictly implemented in accordance with the safety cabinet installation requirements. (1) During the handling of the biosafety cabinet, it is strictly forbidden to place and disassemble it. It is advisable to disassemble the package after moving into the installation site. (2) The biosafety cabinet should be installed near the exhaust vents and should not be installed in places where the airflow changes drastically and the personnel move much, and should not be installed at the door. The biosafety cabinet should be downstream of the direction of air flow. (3) The distance between the back side and the side of the biosafety cabinet should be kept at a distance of not less than 150mm~300mm, and the top should also have a space of not less than 300mm. (4) The exhaust system should ensure that the biosafety cabinet is under negative pressure relative to the room in which it is located, and that it must be convenient to replace the HEPA filter when installing. (5) If other gases are required in the safety cabinet, the gas piping should be installed at the same time.
