The type of threat that LCD screen design and equipment can suffer depends on whether a PPTC device or a one-time fuse is used.
Due to the user's incorrect wiring and operational errors, the LCD screen may experience more serious overload and short circuit. The resettable nature of PPTC devices is generally best suited for situations where the metal interface is likely to be an inlet for overcurrent conditions and overvoltage transients.
