Cree Launches Industry's First LED Module Driver Compatibility Program

Cree announced the launch of the LED module driver compatibility program. The new driver compatibility program provides LED luminaire manufacturers with a range of drivers that have been validated, tested and compatible with Cree LED modules. Combined with third-party-driven technology and features, the program can help luminaire manufacturers quickly meet the different lighting requirements of each country and region, and further expand product differentiation to meet more application needs.

This is the first time the industry has introduced such a program, and Cree has extended the warranty coverage of its LED modules to products that use Cree LED modules and third-party compatibility drivers. Prior to this, Cree's warranty was limited to products using Cree LED modules and Cree. The new driver compatibility program demonstrates that Cree is committed to helping LED luminaire manufacturers overcome difficulties and accelerate the introduction of high-quality lighting products.
