EXOS tactile feedback gloves were developed by Japanese start-up company Exiii. According to Exiii, when the user touches different virtual objects and performs actions such as grabbing, pushing and pulling, the EXOS tactile feedback gloves generate resistance through the built-in combination motor, providing the user with realistic VR tactile feedback. The exoskeleton design of the glove can effectively prevent the glove from being too loose and losing the sense of immersion when the user experiences, and the curvature of the finger joint and the strength of the finger can be accurately conveyed, so that the user can naturally interact with the virtual object. Although the design of the glove (thumb free movement, the other four fingers joined) seems to limit the free movement of each finger, Exiii indicates that this is based on the working principle of the prosthesis to unite the four fingers of the glove together. Does not affect the operation of some basic hand movements (such as grasping and holding).
