From 60,000 dive, Nokia OZO+ 360-degree camera dropped to 25,000 U.S. dollars

Nokia's OZO system for shooting and editing 360-degree videos is aimed at high-end professional users, and Nokia's pricing is so high that most consumers and small businesses can only go awry. However, this will change a little bit as Nokia is reducing the price of the OZO+ camera to $25,000.

Although this is still pricing for the high-end market, we believe that some small-scale production companies and movie studios can now consider the trade-offs. Nokia OZO+ can provide advantages that are not available on low-end 360-degree cameras, because this device can capture monocular 4K resolution clips. Nokia OZO+ supports spatial audio with a full view 360 x 180 coverage area and a capture speed of 30 FPS.

Both Mac OS and Windows 10 support OZO+ software, while the Oculus DK2 on Mac OSX, and the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on Windows 10 can use full 3D audio for stereo surveillance. The device's memory reaches 500GB, which can bring longer shooting time.

Nokia recently introduced new features for this device, including time-lapse shooting mode and real-time monitoring. The OZO+ camera supports the automatic capture of depth images and can accurately integrate CGI elements into the clip to make it look real and natural.

Nokia initially began selling in March 2016, selling for US$60,000 at the time of listing, and in September 2016 it reduced its price to US$45,000. At present, the price in China is still 320,888 yuan. This is enough to show how the Nokia OZO camera is selling profitably.
