Schneider soft starter fault F-01 to F-09, today's electrician forum for you to answer these 9 kinds of fault alarm repair processing:
1. Fault - F05 (frequency error):
This failure is caused by a problem with the soft starter handling the internal power signal and causing a power frequency error. This situation needs to be consulted by the company's product development software design engineer. Mainly to improve the power circuit design.
2, fault - F07 (start overcurrent):
The over-current is caused by the load being too heavy and the starting current is more than 500%. To solve this problem, set the soft internal function code “0†(starting voltage) higher, or set the function code “1â€. The "rise time" setting is longer and can be set to: 30~60S. Also, if the current limit value of the function code "4" is set properly, it can be 2~3 times.
3. Fault - F03 (overheating):
This fault occurs because the soft starter starts too frequently in a short period of time. We should tell the user that when the operation is soft, the number of starts should not exceed 12 times per hour.
4, fault -F04 (input phase loss):
There are many factors that cause this failure, some of which are listed below:
(1) Check if the incoming power and motor wiring are loose;
(2) Whether the output is connected to the load, and whether the load matches the motor;
(3) Use a multimeter to detect whether the module or thyristor of the soft starter has breakdown, and whether their trigger gate resistance meets the requirements of normal conditions (generally around 20~30 ohms);
(4) Is the internal wiring socket loose?
All of these factors may cause this failure to occur, as long as careful inspection and correct judgment can be ruled out.
5, fault - F01 (instantaneous stop):
This fault occurs when terminals 7 and 10 are open, as long as the wires short the terminals 7 and 10 to solve. The cause of this fault is generally caused by incorrect external control wiring. If the user does not specifically need external control, we can tell the user to set the soft internal function code "9" (control mode) parameter to "1". "(Keyboard Control), you can avoid this failure.
6, fault -F06 (parameter error):
If this fault occurs, you need to reboot and enter the factory value once. Specific operation: first break the soft starter control power (AC 220V) with a finger press and hold the "PRG" button on the soft control panel, then send the control of the soft starter, release the "PRG" after about 30S "Key, re-enter the factory value.
7, fault - F02 (starting time is too long):
This fault occurs when the soft starter's current limit value is set too low and the soft starter's start-up time is too long. In this case, we can soften the internal function code "4" (limit start current). The parameter setting is higher, it can be set to 1.5~2.0 times. It must be noted whether the motor power level matches the power level of the soft starter. If it does not match, in the case of a large difference, the barbaric parameter is set to 4 ~5 times, after starting the operation for a period of time, the internal silicon module or the thyristor may be burned out due to excessive current.
8, fault -F08 (running overcurrent):
The cause of this failure is mainly due to the fact that the soft start is in operation, and the module or thyristor generates heat due to the heavy load. You can check whether the load and the soft starter power match, and try to use how much soft motor load to drive.
9, fault -F09 (output phase loss):
Mainly check whether the incoming and outgoing cables are loose, whether the soft output phase is out of phase or the motor is damaged.
