Putian invests more than 2 billion yuan to build Haixi Wind Power Base in 9 months

In Putian City this year, it focused on creating a wind power base on the west side of the Taiwan Strait. A total of 7 billion wind-power projects under construction in the first 9 months of wind power projects have completed investment of more than 2 billion yuan, over-achieving 8.82% of the annual plan and accounting for 65% of the total investment. Putian City is located on the southeastern coast of China. It has a long coastline, vast sea areas and abundant wind resources. In recent years, Putian City has vigorously developed the environmental protection and clean energy wind power industry. In Xiuyu District, only four wind farms in Nanri, Shantou Shicheng, Pinghai Shijing, and Dongji were built, including Nanri Wind Farm Phases 1–3 and Shicheng. Phase 1 of the wind farm, phase 1–2 of the Ishii well, and Dongfeng wind farm have all been completed and put into production. This year, the city opened another seven projects: the Zhongmeng Wind Farm at the north bank of Meizhou Bay, the Caoshan Wind Farm at Xianyou County, the Huilu Wind Farm at Hanjiang District, the Nanri Fourth Wind Farm at Xiuyu District, and the Houhai Wind Farm Phase I. After Houhai Phase II Wind Power and Shicheng Phase II Wind Farm (Dazhaoshan), the total investment amounted to RMB 3.1 billion.

These wind power projects have blossomed all over the place.
