This article describes an isolated converter circuit consisting of the LT1425. The input voltage of the circuit shown in Figure (a) is -36~-72V, and the output is 5V/2A. The LT1425 is a current-operating integrated circuit with an oscillation frequency of 275kHZ. It has all the functional circuits required for the power supply. The on-chip switching power MOSFET has a maximum leakage current of 1.5A. The circuit has no feedback applied, so the load regulation is ±5%. In order to increase the stability of the load change, a part of the voltage can be taken from the output terminal to be added to the feedback terminal, thereby improving the stability of the circuit. Figure (b) shows the dual output converter circuit using the LT1425. No negative feedback is applied to the circuit. To increase stability, a three-terminal integrated voltage regulator 7815 can be added to its output. When the input voltage is 5V, the conversion efficiency reaches 72%, and at 15V, it reaches 80%. The isolation performance depends on the structure of the transformer T1 winding. Output U. 1 is +15V/1OOmA and outputs U. 2 is -15V/1OOmA.
